ORBIS Articulation Paper is a diagnostic tool in the form of pre-colored paper strips that show the occlusal contact points and the distribution of vertical forces. Due to its good visibility on various materials such as gold, ceramic, metal and acrylic, the articulation paper is ideal for checking the surface of dental restorations such as fillings, crowns and dentures.
Early contacts are immediately visible and can be removed accurately. It can also help in the diagnosis of occlusal disorders, for example in patients suffering from bruxism.
Good marking properties on wet surfaces, strong colors on both sides, pre-cut paper strips, the box is made of food-safe paper.
The paper strips are placed between the teeth of the open jaw. The jaw is then closed and light pressure is applied. After opening the jaw again, the patient’s contact points can now be identified based on the discoloration.
